GreteL is a sound driven project by Katerina Andrusenko from Saint-Petersburg Russia. For her inaugral release on Lathelight she creates a provocative and eerie set of songs starting with the title track "Lights". Lights sounds like uneasy listening as a droning melody rises above a a haunted voice that is lost and wandering. "Temple" takes a looping beat, adds more rhythmic clatter and sense of the forbidden with a wordless vocal. "loop #b" adds a quirky charm to close out side B
